The AVID Pulsus II is a high-performance MM and MC phono stage engineered to deliver greater flexibility and higher performance for demanding analogue systems. Designed and manufactured in the UK, it builds on the Pellar II with an external power supply, upgraded circuitry and configurable gain, loading and capacitance settings, allowing it to be accurately matched to a wide range of moving magnet and moving coil cartridges.
Three selectable gain settings, switchable capacitance and seven resistance loading options contribute to its clarity, dynamic expression and exceptionally low background noise. Precision RIAA equalisation with Neumann HF correction and a fully regulated external linear power supply preserve signal integrity, allowing the Pulsus II to extract exceptional detail, timing and transparency from vinyl replay.
