The X-quisite ST is a reference moving coil cartridge built around X-quisite’s patented monobloc ceramic transducer technology. Unlike conventional cartridges where the cantilever and coil former are separate components joined together, the ST uses a single continuous ceramic structure for both, eliminating a mechanical interface within the transducer and providing exceptional rigidity and precise transmission of stylus movement to the generator.
A Micro Ridge diamond stylus, 4N pure silver coils and Neodymium-Armco magnetic system contribute to its clarity, transient speed and precise retrieval of musical detail. The generator is housed within an advanced titanium, aluminium and wood sandwich body engineered to control unwanted resonance, while the reduced-eddy-current magnetic circuit and 12µm/mN compliance complete a distinctive Swiss-made moving coil design focused on mechanical integrity and accurate signal generation.
