All LowSwing albums are recorded and mixed to analogue tape before being cut directly to vinyl, with no computers or AD/DA conversion used anywhere in the process.
At the heart of the label is LowSwing Recording Studio in Berlin, where founder Guy Sternberg records, mixes and produces artists using classic analogue techniques and minimal overdubs - capturing performances with a naturalness, realism and immediacy rarely found in modern recordings.

Supersense Mastercuts are not conventional vinyl records, but individually cut lacquer acetates produced using an uncompromising all-analogue process designed to preserve the closest possible connection to the original master tape.
Each Mastercut is cut in real time from a 1:1 analogue tape copy of the original master, with no digital processing, remastering or alteration anywhere in the signal chain. The result is a uniquely direct and immediate presentation that brings listeners closer to the original recording than traditional vinyl production allows.
