Bespoke Audio Company Preamplifier is a transformer-based passive line controller engineered to preserve the integrity of the incoming signal while providing exceptional transparency and dynamic expression. Designed and hand-built in England, each preamplifier is individually configured to suit its owner’s system, with a choice of balanced and unbalanced inputs and outputs, custom finishes and numerous engineering options.
At the heart of the design are hand-wound multi-tapped transformer attenuators, providing 46 discrete volume steps in precise 1.5dB increments without introducing active gain stages into the signal path. Extensive customisation, meticulous hand assembly and transformer winding carried out in-house allow every preamplifier to be tailored to the requirements of both the system and its owner, while maintaining the musical integrity and low-noise performance for which The Bespoke Audio Company has become renowned.
