Xquisite is a Swiss high-end cartridge brand associated with Micha Huber and the HiFiction/Thales engineering world.
The cartridges are handmade and personally calibrated, with the key technical feature being a patented monobloc-ceramic transducer.
The monobloc ceramic design is important because the cantilever and coil body are made as one high-strength ceramic structure, removing a joint at a point of high mechanical stress. In a cartridge, any loss or flex at this point affects signal transfer from the stylus to the generator. Xquisite is therefore a highly specialised analogue brand for systems where mechanical precision, resolution and signal integrity at the cartridge level are priorities.
