RCM Audio is a Polish manufacturer specialising in high-quality phonostages, including the Sensor, TheRIAA and Big Phono models.
The company’s work is focused on low-noise cartridge amplification, accurate RIAA equalisation and flexible loading for moving magnet and moving coil cartridges.
RCM’s strength is serious analogue engineering without unnecessary complication. The TheRIAA MkII, for example, is a two-box MM/MC phono stage using passive RIAA equalisation, with very accurate RIAA linearity. This makes RCM a strong choice for vinyl systems where the phonostage must reveal the cartridge and record accurately rather than impose a strong character of its own.
