PSI Audio is a Swiss manufacturer of active loudspeakers and studio monitors, handmade in Switzerland and widely used in professional recording, mixing and mastering environments.
Their speakers remain fully analogue in operation and use proprietary technologies such as AOI — Adaptive Output Impedance — and CPR — Compensated Phase Response.
PSI’s unique advantage is driver control. AOI monitors and corrects the loudspeaker driver’s movement in real time in the analogue domain, while CPR helps maintain phase accuracy. This makes PSI especially useful where accuracy, consistency and room behaviour matter, whether in professional studios or serious domestic systems that prioritise neutrality over hi-fi character.
