The Vinnie Rossi Brama Preamplifier is a reference pure-analogue line preamplifier engineered around the distinctive musical qualities of the directly heated 300B triode. At its heart, a matched pair of Western Electric WE300B valves is dedicated solely to voltage gain, allowing the 300Bs to operate without the demands of driving loudspeakers and preserving exceptional tonal integrity, transparency and dynamic expression.
A custom ultra-low-noise super-regulated linear power supply provides clean, low-impedance power to the audio circuitry, while a 100-step resistor-ladder volume control allows exceptionally precise level adjustment. Five balanced inputs, three independent balanced outputs and selectable gain provide extensive system flexibility, while the solid-block aluminium chassis provides comprehensive EMI shielding and resonance control for a remarkably quiet and refined analogue platform.
