The Goldmund Eidos Streamer is a high-performance music server and streamer developed in collaboration with Dutch digital specialist Pink Faun. Designed to combine modern streaming convenience with uncompromising digital signal integrity, it uses a heavily optimised hardware and software architecture developed specifically for high-end music reproduction, with seamless integration into both Goldmund systems and conventional digital audio systems.
At its heart is the Pink Faun OS, optimised for Roon Core operation and further customised by Goldmund with CPU timing noise shaping and dedicated system integration. A motherboard-centred grounding system, passive water-filled heat-pipe cooling and substantial five-rail linear ATX power supply minimise electrical and mechanical noise, while 8TB of internal storage, high-retention USB and dual S/PDIF outputs provide a comprehensive platform for locally stored and streamed music.
