Ideon Absolute DAC Meta

£45,000.00

Ideon Audio Absolute DAC ε Meta is a reference-level digital-to-analogue converter from Greek manufacturer Ideon Audio, incorporating the company’s proprietary digital conversion and analogue circuitry. At its heart is an eight-channel hybrid conversion engine operating in a fully differential, parallel architecture with advanced time-domain control. Three independent femto-grade clock oscillators, proprietary USBCore™ USB processing and extensive low-noise power regulation are designed to minimise timing errors, electrical interference and distortion throughout the conversion process.

Introduced in 2024, the Meta edition builds upon the Absolute Epsilon with revised firmware, upgraded power supplies and an enhanced symmetrical analogue output stage. Its substantial CNC-machined aluminium chassis houses bespoke transformers, proprietary active rectification circuits and a multi-stage power supply architecture incorporating 17 ultra-low-noise regulation stages. Fully balanced and direct-coupled analogue outputs, selectable output levels and modular construction allow the Absolute DAC ε Meta to be integrated into demanding reference systems while providing a platform for future technological upgrades.
