Ideon Absolute Time USB / SPDIF Re-Clocker
The Ideon Audio Absolute Time is a reference-level digital signal re-clocker and conditioner designed to improve the integrity of USB and S/PDIF connections in high-performance audio systems. Designed and manufactured in Greece, it incorporates Ideon’s proprietary 3R signal-processing technology to regenerate, re-clock and re-drive digital signals, with correction applied at both the input and output stages. Its Triple Distillation USB architecture employs a proprietary three-stage noise-reduction circuit, while multiple ultra-low-jitter femto clocks are used to control timing errors and reduce unwanted interference.
The Absolute Time provides independent USB and coaxial S/PDIF inputs and outputs, allowing it to be integrated with music servers, network streamers, CD transports and external DACs. Its extensive power supply architecture incorporates a handmade transformer, triple-stage ultra-low-noise linear regulation and proprietary rectification circuitry, together with a high-current 5V USB output capable of supplying up to 2.5A. Housed in a substantial CNC-machined aluminium chassis, the Absolute Time offers a dedicated approach to digital signal conditioning without requiring replacement of the existing source or converter.
