Ideon EOS Dac
The Ideon Audio eos DAC is a high-performance digital-to-analogue converter developed using technologies from the company’s reference IΩN and Absolute series. Designed and manufactured in Greece, it employs a proprietary eight-channel hybrid conversion engine operating in a fully differential, parallel architecture. Three ultra-low-jitter femto clock oscillators, dedicated power regulation and an advanced analogue output stage are designed to preserve timing accuracy, minimise distortion and maintain signal integrity throughout the conversion process.
At the heart of its digital input architecture is Ideon’s proprietary USBCore™ technology, combining software-controlled signal optimisation, precision re-clocking and an ultra-low-noise linear power supply. The fully balanced analogue stage features direct-coupled outputs without capacitors in the signal path, while extensive independent power regulation helps isolate critical circuits. Supporting PCM up to 32-bit/384kHz and native DSD512, the eos DAC offers balanced XLR and single-ended RCA outputs, selectable output levels and a modular architecture designed to accommodate future upgrades.
