Ideon EOS Stream
The Ideon Audio eos Stream is a high-performance network streamer and music server developed using technologies from the company’s flagship Absolute Stream. Designed and manufactured in Greece, it employs a dedicated audio-processing architecture that prioritises music playback rather than conventional computer functions. A proprietary femto-clock re-clocking circuit, independent low-noise linear power supplies and carefully controlled CPU power delivery are designed to minimise electrical noise and timing errors before the digital signal reaches the DAC.
The eos Stream combines a 4TB internal SSD music library with network streaming, external USB storage and comprehensive playback software compatibility. An embedded Roon Core allows it to operate as a complete music server without requiring a separate Roon computer, while Roon endpoint functionality, Ideon’s native playback application, Qobuz Connect, Spotify Connect and Audirvana Studio provide flexible control options. Two independently re-clocked USB audio outputs, one with a 5V power rail and one without, allow the eos Stream to be optimised for different DAC configurations.
