Ideon EOS Time USB Re-Clocker
The Ideon Audio eos Time is a high-performance USB signal re-clocker designed to improve the quality of the digital connection between a music server, streamer or computer and an external DAC. Designed and manufactured in Greece, it employs Ideon Audio’s proprietary 3R technology to regenerate, re-clock and re-drive the USB signal, using ultra-low-jitter femto clocks and advanced signal processing to minimise electrical noise and transmission-related interference.
Developed from the earlier 3R Master Time, the eos Time incorporates an improved clock architecture, redesigned circuit board and three independent ultra-low-noise linear power supplies. A programmable signal-processing platform provides correction at both the USB input and output stages, while a switchable, independently regulated 5V USB supply accommodates DACs with different power requirements. Designed to complement the eos Stream and eos DAC, it can also be integrated into digital playback systems from other manufacturers, providing a dedicated signal-conditioning stage without replacing the existing source or converter.
