Twin 845 output valves, transformer-coupled circuitry and a fully balanced architecture contribute to its clarity, transient speed and precise retrieval of musical detail. Driver stages built around 6L6GC and EC8010 valves, together with dedicated DC filament supplies and an exceptionally robust power supply, allow the ERIC ENCORE to reproduce music with remarkable scale, control and realism whilst maintaining the natural tonal character for which Engström amplifiers are renowned.
