Designed and hand-built in Sweden, it employs a transformer-coupled architecture throughout with no global negative feedback, allowing the signal to pass through an exceptionally linear circuit while preserving the natural tonal character and immediacy for which directly heated triodes are renowned.
Twin 300B-XLS output valves, transformer-coupled circuitry and a fully balanced signal path contribute to its clarity, transient speed and precise retrieval of musical detail. Independent monoblock construction, carefully regulated power supplies and hand-selected components ensure exceptional channel separation and low noise, while selectable input sensitivity and output impedance allow the LARS to integrate seamlessly with a wide range of reference loudspeakers and source components.
