The Marten Dexter Duo is a high-performance two-way standmount loudspeaker designed and handcrafted in Sweden. The most compact model in the Dexter Series, it combines a custom-designed 1-inch pure diamond tweeter with a 7.5-inch ceramic mid/bass driver, incorporating technologies developed for Marten’s more ambitious loudspeaker designs. The exceptional rigidity and low moving mass of the diamond diaphragm support precise transient reproduction and extended high-frequency response, while the ceramic mid/bass driver is engineered for controlled, low-distortion performance. With a specified frequency response of 35Hz to 45kHz, the Dexter Duo offers substantial bandwidth from a relatively compact enclosure.
The Dexter Duo incorporates Marten’s proprietary M-Core triple-layer cabinet construction, complemented by a carbon-fibre laminate tweeter faceplate and the newly developed Loaded Reflex Line bass-loading system. Its carefully shaped internal channel terminates in a wide downward-firing outlet, reducing air velocity and allowing greater flexibility in room positioning. A bespoke multi-diverse crossover, Jorma Duality internal wiring and pure copper rhodium-plated terminals complete the design. Optional dedicated stands incorporate Marten Isolators developed with IsoAcoustics, while the Statement Edition introduces upgraded crossover components and Jorma Statement internal wiring.
