The Marten Oscar Duo is a high-performance two-way standmount loudspeaker developed in Sweden, bringing the company’s ceramic-driver technology into a compact and more accessible design. It combines a custom-designed 1-inch ceramic tweeter with a 7-inch ceramic mid/bass driver, both developed specifically for the Oscar Series. The lightweight, exceptionally rigid ceramic diaphragms are designed to minimise distortion and unwanted resonance, providing precise transient reproduction, detailed midrange performance and extended high-frequency clarity.
The Oscar Duo incorporates a carefully engineered second-order crossover using copper-foil air-core coils, silver/gold capacitors and Supreme resistors, complemented by premium Jorma internal wiring. Its substantial 25mm fibreboard cabinet provides a rigid foundation for the drivers, while dedicated three-pillar stands are available to optimise stability and positioning. With a frequency response of 37Hz to 20kHz, the Oscar Duo combines substantial bass extension with the flexibility of a standmount loudspeaker, making it suitable for carefully optimised systems in both smaller and larger listening rooms.
