The Marten Oscar Trio is a high-performance two-way floorstanding loudspeaker developed in Sweden, incorporating the company’s custom-designed ceramic driver technology in a compact and accessible design. It combines a 1-inch ceramic tweeter with two 7-inch ceramic mid/bass drivers, providing increased radiating area and greater low-frequency extension than the smaller Oscar Duo. The lightweight, exceptionally rigid ceramic diaphragms are designed to minimise unwanted resonance and distortion, contributing to precise transient reproduction, natural midrange detail and controlled bass performance.
The Oscar Trio features a carefully engineered second-order crossover incorporating copper-foil air-core coils, silver/gold capacitors and Supreme resistors, complemented by premium Jorma internal wiring. Its substantial 25mm fibreboard cabinet provides a rigid foundation for the three-driver arrangement, while precision-engineered pucks and cones provide mechanical support and resonance control. Optional Marten Isolators, developed with IsoAcoustics, offer additional mechanical isolation from the floor. With a specified frequency response of 27Hz to 20kHz and sensitivity of 89dB, the Oscar Trio delivers extended bandwidth and substantial dynamic capability from a relatively narrow floorstanding enclosure.
