HRS Damping Plate
The Harmonic Resolution Systems Damping Plate is a high-performance chassis resonance-control device designed to reduce unwanted mechanical vibration in audio components and loudspeaker cabinets. Manufactured from precision-machined aircraft-grade aluminium and proprietary HRS polymers, it combines carefully controlled mass, stiffness and damping to dissipate mechanical energy and reduce resonances within the supporting chassis.
Designed to sit directly on top of an audio component, the Damping Plate provides broadband resonance control without requiring modifications to the equipment. Available in two versions, the DPII and the heavier DPX, each offered in three sizes, the system can be selected to suit different chassis dimensions and construction methods. A high-grip polymer contact surface ensures stable positioning, while black and silver finishes allow the plates to integrate discreetly with a wide range of equipment.
Key Features
High-performance chassis resonance-control system
Precision-machined aircraft-grade aluminium construction
Proprietary HRS damping polymers
Combines controlled mass, stiffness and damping to dissipate mechanical energy
Designed to reduce unwanted chassis resonance across a broad frequency range
Suitable for audio electronics and loudspeaker cabinets
Positioned directly on the component chassis
High-grip contact surface for stable placement
Available in two versions: DPII and DPX
DPX features a heavier, taller construction than DPII
Three sizes available for each version
Black or silver finishes
Can be combined with HRS Nimbus or other suitable component-support systems
