The Harmonic Resolution Systems S3 is a high-performance isolation base developed to approach the vibration-control capabilities of the reference M3X2 while retaining the more accessible construction of the R3X. Designed and manufactured in the USA, its substantial seven-material plinth incorporates alternating layers of high-density fabric-reinforced resin and non-magnetic stainless steel, bonded around a proprietary internally decoupled mass-damping system. Precision-machined, heat-treated aluminium perimeter trim provides additional structural rigidity and resonance control.
The S3 incorporates interchangeable HRS isolation feet, individually selected to suit the weight and operating characteristics of the supported component. Broadband SF, low-frequency LF and G7 bi-directional noise reduction feet provide different approaches to vibration control, allowing the platform to be optimised for turntables, amplifiers, digital sources and power supplies.
