Brinkmann 10.5 is a precision-engineered gimballed tonearm designed by Helmut Brinkmann to provide exceptional rigidity, resonance control and tracking accuracy across a wide range of moving coil cartridges. Designed and manufactured in Germany, its 10.5-inch effective length offers the tracking advantages of a longer tonearm while remaining compatible with most turntables designed for conventional 9-inch arm mounting distances.
A rigid aluminium arm tube with a specialised anodised surface treatment, fixed headshell and double gimbal bearing assembly with precision zero-play ball bearings contribute to its clarity, transient speed and precise retrieval of musical detail. Infinitely adjustable azimuth, magnetic anti-skating and a split-collar counterweight allow precise cartridge setup and broad compatibility with cartridges weighing between 4 and 16g, while the 12g effective mass makes the 10.5 suitable for the vast majority of modern moving coil designs.
