In April 2023 the famous and critically acclaimed UK singer, Fink went with LowSwing Records Producer, Guy Sternberg into the studio and recorded what would be “The LowSwing Sessions”
As Fink Later wrote: “The Session was the catalyst of musical desire...a few days in a real recording studio with some friends, stellar sessionistas, and nothing to think about apart from singing and playing.”

The “Stellar” musicians Fink talks about are some of the best musicians out there: Tim Lefebvre (David Bowie's bass player on Black Star), Drummer Earl Harvin (Seal, Jeff Beck), Thomas Moked Blum (Patricia Kaas), Haggai Cohen-Milo and Doron Segal.
In the 2 day session Fink and the band put down to tape some of Fink's favorite tracks from Bowie and The Smiths, some of Guy's all-time choices from Soundgarden and Little Feat and a couple of Fink's own classic cuts. The Album was record and mixed at one of Berlin's oldest studios
Tritonus were Nick Cave, Erasure, Element of Crime and many other made their records. The recording was done on 2-inch 24-track Studer A827 and was mixed down to a Studer A80 1⁄2- inch machine at 30ips.

Later the record was mastered and cut to lacquer at George Martin's legendary “AIR Studios” in London.
"Fink - The LowSwing Session" is available exclusively on vinyl. Two editions were released: a standard, single 33-RPM 140g disc and a “Deluxe” edition, limited to 1000 copies and packaged in a luxurious gatefold cover and pressed on two 45-RPM discs. Both versions are pressed at Optimal Media GmbH. This album is produced in co-operation with Brinkmann Audio.
LowSwing Recordings are recorded and mixed to analogue tape and then cut directly to vinyl. No computers, digital mixing or AD/DA conversion are used in the mastering process. The album utilizes LowSwing's unique collection of vintage equipment and instruments from the 1960's and ‘70's, much of which has been modified to the studio’s exacting requirements.
