Jack Savoretti - Live at SUPERSENSE #3

£395.00

We are very proud to add Jack Savoretti as the third artist to our bespoke Mastercut Live Recording Series. This time the intimate recording took place in the living room of our artist apartment Top 5, one floor above the Mastercut cutting room / studio in the presence of only 15 friends.

Jack remembers that night:
"On Thursday 25th April, in front of an intimate audience in Vienna, I performed a Mastercut Live Recording. In a world where the endless, flawless curation of music is served up by algorithms, through the medium of the "Mastercut" and his Live Recording initiative, the man credited with the comeback of the Polaroid, Florian “Doc” Kaps has found a way to reintroduce the tactile experience of music. My performance in April was mixed on the fly and recorded directly onto analogue tape. From this one of a kind mastertape, each copy was then cut in real time. There was no editing, no fixing, no auto tune; just me, my old friend Shannon on piano, the needle and the music. With Mastercut Editions, Doc has masterminded the preservation of the highest and purest quality of an original recording, enabling fans and music lovers to experience it in all its fragility."
