Clarisys Audio is a specialist manufacturer of high-end full-range ribbon loudspeakers, developed by engineering teams in Vietnam and Switzerland.
Founded from work producing replacement parts for classic Apogee loudspeakers, Clarisys now builds its own range, from the compact Piccolo to the four-tower Aria, using rigid aluminium structures and large bipolar ribbon drivers rather than conventional cone drivers in enclosed cabinets.
Clarisys uses ultra-low-mass pure aluminium ribbons for bass, midrange and treble, with powerful magnet assemblies acting across the diaphragm surface. Using closely related driver materials throughout the frequency range helps maintain consistent transient behaviour, while the open-baffle bipolar construction avoids the stored energy and resonance of a traditional cabinet. The result is the speed and spatial openness associated with ribbon loudspeakers, combined with unusually convincing bass extension, scale and dynamic capacity.
